Setting up exchange groups between poultry farmers is among the best practices identified by the French BroilerNet network in response to the challenge of training farmers/workers to improve animal welfare. Indeed, these groups take the form of networks where farmers can share their knowledge, experiences, and best practices, thus fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual learning through training, which can notably contribute to enhancing animal welfare. This practical guide presents an example of setting up and operating a group of poultry farmers in Finistère, outlining its access conditions and the benefits of joining.
