Ensure Water Quality, Proper Monitoring and Appropriate Water System

Water is an essential element for the health and performance of broilers. Poor-quality or poorly managed water can be a source of contamination and directly impact the animals’ growth, welfare and health. In particular, unsuitable water can contribute to locomotor disorders by disrupting mineral balance and increasing the risk of pathogenic bacteria development. To mitigate these risks, strict water quality management is essential throughout the water supply chain. This includes regular monitoring of physiochemical parameters (pH, hardness, iron), cleaning and disinfecting water lines, and applying appropriate treatment based on analysis results.
