The results of a partnership between Air Breizh and Brittany’s Chamber of Agriculture, the AgrivisioN’air® web application, aims to preserve the fertilizing value of livestock manure during spreading operations.

The tool is designed to help you make the right decisions to preserve the fertilizing value of the organic products you apply, by forecasting the amount of nitrogen lost through ammonia volatilization over a 3-day period, depending on spreading practices and forecast weather conditions.

The aim of this web tool is to help users adapt to reduce ammonia emissions into the air linked to the spreading of organic and mineral fertilizers, and thus make better use of their fertilizing value.

This good practice was identified by the French innovation network in response to the environmental challenge of “improving manure management” in the BroilerNet project.
